Yesterday was a rest day. Today's workout was tough. Thankfully it's only 25 min. My legs feel like jello! I took a short clip of part of it. It's 25 min with about 8 spurts of 1 min drills.

Day 14, 15, & 16
Awesome days. I'm still thinking that Day 90 is so far away! I know it
will go by fast but it seems a long time away. I'm excited about my
changes. This morning was probably the hardest workout to date. There
is so much hog knees and jumping. I'm modifying for now, but I I hope
to be able to do ALL the jumps as time goes.

Day 12 & 13
Awesome days!! I subbed all day on Friday and never felt tired.
Chalene* says all the time you'll have more energy if you workout. I've heard it before and I've experienced it before, but last week at the beginning of Turbofire I was exhausted. I literally couldn't keep my eyes open at school one day. The last few days have been much better and maybe it's finally kicking in. The weather has been beautiful and I plan on getting outside for some jogs here soon. I'll be taking my measurements monthly, but on Day 13 I was five lbs down! I'll take it. I don't want to fret over the scale, so I'm only weighing weekly. I don't have a weight goal, as I know that doesn't mean much, but as it goes down I know it means I'm closer to getting back in certain clothes, and being at a healthy range. I'm way over that now.

DAY 10 & 11
I finagled my schedule so I could be on the right days with my calendar that was sent. I was writing in different days and it got confusing. So...I skipped two days ahead and am on track. I'll just add two days at the end. Yesterday was a rest day and today was so hard to get up. I definitely have more energy than last week though -for sure!
I've been making protein smoothies for breakfast and they are so yummy and filling. I'm adding a teaspoon of Chia seeds that have 5 grams of fiber! That is a lot! Today's lunch I grabbed quickly on my way out the door; boiled egg, half avocado, a piece of turkey bologna, and two slices RF cheese. I realize now that while these are pretty healthy, I probably need to watch that fat a little more, and try to keep it lower. You think? I'm drinking lots of water too. I'm staying pretty full, also.
Apparently the picture from Instagram didn't work when I emailed the link. I won't bother with that again! I'll send it separately. I discovered the recipe on the side of the raw spinach bag for sautéing it. YUM!! I've been doing that almost everyday! I sided with with Tilapia and it was delish.
It seems I have so far to go, but I'm taking it day by day.

Day 8
Today was tough.
I was sore and tired from the weekend. I'm subbing today so I worked out early, around 5am. I'm feeling pretty tired and sleepy at school today.

DAY 5, 6, & 7
Day five was Saturday and I felt awful. We hosted 13 tenth grade girls
and I had a hard time finding the time to work out. With a cold and
some aches, I skipped. :( Sunday was a great abs day and today was my
first HIIT workout. High Intensity Interval Training. It was only 20
min but super intense! I felt great all day, though. I have eaten
excellent today and I think I might have actually surpassed my 100
grams of protein daily goal!

Day 3 & 4
Yesterday was a rest day, and today was super tough. It was the same workout as the first day, but I seem to have lost my voice, been coughing up thick junk, and feel like I'm in a fog. I've always heard exercising can help even when you don't feel like it. I'm not sure if that applies to being sick, but I think I'm just a little sick! Ha.

DAY 2
Today was much more difficult. I'm a little sore from yesterday, and it was a longer class. I am feeling great though! I am trying to follow the schedule exactly like it's written. I know this might be difficult, as I might have to change the days I rest. It is a six day program. If I follow correctly, tomorrow is a rest day. This actually works out great because I have to leave the house before 6am to take a group of exchange students to the capital in Nashville. I will not be back till around 3pm and then have a couple of hours before Grace has soccer, and a parent meeting. My only problem is Saturday. We are hosting a group tenth grade girls for a Disciple Now conference. I am way too embarrassed to perform this workout in front of anyone! HA! I am thinking I may do it while they are in a "session" or while they are at church in the evening. We shall see. I can't let that be my reason for skipping that day too!
I took my before pictures and I have promised myself to put them on the blog at the end of the 90 days, with my after pics. That is motivation enough for me to keep it up! My friend suggested weekly. HAHAHA! That is funny. Yeah Right!

Almost here...
Turbofire should be here today.
I'm very excited about starting this program. I've yet to take my before pics, so tonight I will have to do that and take all my measurements.
I'm making a healthy dinner tonight, with a sour cream bunt cake I had planned to make over the weekend, but it didn't happen. From here on out I've made a conscience decision to just be more AWARE of what goes into my body; and my family's. Marcus has had two Sprites since his surgery! I'm proud of him and hope to keep it up. We've been making him soda from our soda stream, but I still want him to get un addicted to soda. Period! I try to equate it to smoking or any other drug. I know it's hard for him. But dang, he's twelve! Young enough that it's my fault!
Poor Marcus has had over a 103 temperature since yesterday, too. Ugh.

A NEW START!
It's been so long I even forgot my password. Seriously. But I have very good motivation for signing back in and getting in the routine of blogging again.

I am so excited I haven't been able to think about much else in a few weeks. See, I have been having weird dreams and thoughts that if I don't take care of my body, I might not have the chance later. I know it sounds cliche, but I think it is the Lord's way to telling me it's time to stop fooling around with the crap I put in my body and not exercising like I should. I know there are plenty of things out there that I could do, but I LOVE workouts that are never the same. I love workouts that don't require you to do the same boring movement hours after hours. I've always wanted to try one like this, so I took the plunge. I want to post my successes/trials here so YOU can encourage me, and hold me accountable. I don't plan on any particular diet with this, I plan on increasing my protein big time, and getting all the crap out of my body; like SUGAR! I will pretty much be eating as clean as I can.
While I won't be posting my before pictures I am taking this week (shocker, I know), I will be posting at the end of my 90 day challenge. That is what freaks me out. I will be posting a before and after pic at the end of the 90 days. I am anxious to see the transformation and I know you will be too!
I should have this in the mail any day. I'll let you know how it goes!
