Up to Day 35!

It's been a while since I've posted. My world has been a little bit of a world wind. I am on day 35 and it's still going great. Even though I haven't posted, I'm still working out!

I missed one day last week but I didn't feel bad, as I've worked hard all week. This week I'm going to be a little stricter on my food. Johanna asked me the other day if I plan on eating like this for the rest of my life. I said, "yes." I do plan on it. The difference will be when being confronted with food that I know is not "good" for me, I won't want it, or if I do, I will be satisfied with a small amount. I'm tired of feeling sick from eating too much junk. It's been six weeks and I do feel great. I don't miss the junk at all. I sent in my 30 day pics a week ago. I didn't see much of a difference but I think sixty days will be very noticeable. I am trying to just slow down. It is going to take T-I-M-E!

Day 24

Today was awesome! I pushed so hard and to the end. I finished and felt great. My face was flushed pink for a good hour after.

A full 45 min of kicks, high knees, punches, and air jacks.

Now it's day 23. I actually skipped four days due to sickness. I had some kind of funk. I honestly don't think I have ever been that congested in my whole life. I got a z-pak at the doctor yesterday and pushed through a 30 minute class this morning. I rested A LOT  over the weekend, and am hopefully back on track. I'm still a little congested, but I'm hoping it will go away soon. I did have a terrible time trying to breathe this morning.

I have still been eating really well. I am very impatient and don't like seeing the scale move slowly, but I know this is a lifestyle change. I'm almost sick to my stomach when I watch the junk that my family eats. Please don't blame me. It's seriously easier to buy it and have them happy, then not buy it and have a very unhappy husband. Marcus has been eating better (because I can control what he eats) and he has actually lost a little weight. He's doing great without soda too! Grace is the same old eat whatever I want, and then is very active in sports so she stays trim and lean. I keep telling her it will catch up with her one day. I know it will. For the most part, I fix pretty healthy dinners, but the snack foods are crappy because Jason won't eat the healthy stuff. He spends a lot of time lifting weights and doing cardio but eats a fourth meal every night. It's crap too. He doesn't eat the fruit or yogurt or nuts, he has to have the Doritos or oreos. It's very frustrating to me but I have told him till I'm blue in the face, "this is going to kill you." It is becoming very personal for me and important to me but I realize that food is also like a bad addiction. He is addicted to coke and junk food. He won't get better until he wants to. You can obviously tell how much it bothers me!

Well, I'm finishing up my roasted cabbage and liter of water and a good book tonight! I'm not feeling very well about my day 30 pics. Even though I might have a ten lb loss, I don't feel like I look very different.
