Turbo Fire is DONE…and I said I'd post pics- AHHH!

WOW!

You know when you are starting a diet, a workout program, or even a household project for that matter, and you think after a few days, "why the heck isn't anything changing?"

…you know you have been there.

CHANGE TAKES TIME!!

- this following is going to be a little personal (the picture) but I am confident that I need to be open about my story in order to help others. Plus, seeing is believing! Right?

I started Turbo Fire in February after being fed up and ready to make some changes. I knew that I didn't have money to purchase a trainer (plus that took time going to the gym), I knew that I only had control of ME; what I did for activity and what I put in my mouth. A friend told me about Turbo Fire. He is a Independent Beachbody Coach and knew that I would love the upbeat music and fun that this workout offered. He also new I was active and wanted to lose weight and SEE some changes. I ordered Turbo Fire and there happended to be a FaceBook challenge group going on. I am so glad that I joined. The accountability from that group helped a lot and having to send in pictures every 30 days is a HUGE motivator in my opinion. I am SO GLAD that I took pictures. It really helped me to see changes that I wasn't seeing in the mirror and it motivated me to keep it up. I have lost 25 lbs and out of over 700 group members in the challenge I was one of the top ten Grand Prize winners! I haven't received my prize yet, but I'm pretty sure it's Beachbody apparell. How crazy is that? I don't even remember what the prizes are!

Day 1 & Day 90 of Turbo Fire
While I am pleased with the results so far, I am not where I want to be. I ordered another Beachbody program that I am incorporating with another round of Turbo Fire. It is a weight program and I'm confident I'll lost more body fat with this program.

I am also considering being a Beachbody coach because I've been so happy with this company and the programs they put out. I've had a lot of people ask me what I did! Someone asked me yesterday what supplements I was taking. I responded with a multivitamin! I am eating right and haven't taken any type of fat loss or energy supplements. Beachbody does have a shake that they make (Shakeology, a meal replacement shake) and I am going to be trying that soon because it is a protein shake with all the fuits and veggie servings, nutrients, etc.. I get plenty of that, but I think it would be great for my husband and kiddos too. I believe correcting my metabolism has been the result of my eating and working out and metabolism is key to losing weight. We all know that.

-Sharing this pic was hard but I want you all to see what a different taking the pics makes! It speaks volumes. I am soooooo glad that I joined Beachbody and purchasd Turbo Fire!

I'll keep you updated at the end of my 90 days with ChaLean Extreme. I started that today!

Day 65

Has it really been 30 days?

I can't believe I've been so bad about posting.

Ha…who am I kidding. Yes I can!

I am loving Turbofire. The workouts are fun, the music is great, and the inches are slowly falling off of my midriff area. That is always a very tough area for me. Now, don't get me wrong, there are days when I do not want to push play. There are days when I say, "I'll just eat well and skip my workout today." But, I have actually only fallen prey to that several times. I have been VERY disciplined for the most part. I think being so frustrated with my clothes not fitting has just put me over the edge. Now it is fun for them to be comfortable again, and see the changes! While this Turbofire program is 90 days, the videos and the lifestyle change I have made will go on forever. I am excited about the progress and am getting super excited about all the different workouts and changes in my body. I am taking my 60 day pics this week and will working hard this last month. I have entered a 90 day contest online and have to submit before and after pics. Those won't be public!! Eventually I hope to post before/after pics on here, but I don't have any idea if that will ever happen. I don't have that much courage!

On another note, my little girl…14 years old, went to a party this last weekend. It was a formal themed party. I'm not going to give my opinion of that, but lets just say the evening went pretty well. She went with a "date" and we stayed and grilled out with his family while there were gone. We had a great evening. When we first arrived Grace did not want to take off her jacket. She was so uncomfortable with a strapless dress. Let's just say I hope she always is! HA! She had on her jacket most of the evening (so I was told) and I was glad. I hope that modesty lasts forever. I kind of hope it would flow into other areas as well; like shorts and swimsuits!

Here is a few that rode together.

Up to Day 35!

It's been a while since I've posted. My world has been a little bit of a world wind. I am on day 35 and it's still going great. Even though I haven't posted, I'm still working out!

I missed one day last week but I didn't feel bad, as I've worked hard all week. This week I'm going to be a little stricter on my food. Johanna asked me the other day if I plan on eating like this for the rest of my life. I said, "yes." I do plan on it. The difference will be when being confronted with food that I know is not "good" for me, I won't want it, or if I do, I will be satisfied with a small amount. I'm tired of feeling sick from eating too much junk. It's been six weeks and I do feel great. I don't miss the junk at all. I sent in my 30 day pics a week ago. I didn't see much of a difference but I think sixty days will be very noticeable. I am trying to just slow down. It is going to take T-I-M-E!

Day 24

Today was awesome! I pushed so hard and to the end. I finished and felt great. My face was flushed pink for a good hour after.

A full 45 min of kicks, high knees, punches, and air jacks.

Booya!

SICK…AND DAY 23

Now it's day 23. I actually skipped four days due to sickness. I had some kind of funk. I honestly don't think I have ever been that congested in my whole life. I got a z-pak at the doctor yesterday and pushed through a 30 minute class this morning. I rested A LOT  over the weekend, and am hopefully back on track. I'm still a little congested, but I'm hoping it will go away soon. I did have a terrible time trying to breathe this morning.

I have still been eating really well. I am very impatient and don't like seeing the scale move slowly, but I know this is a lifestyle change. I'm almost sick to my stomach when I watch the junk that my family eats. Please don't blame me. It's seriously easier to buy it and have them happy, then not buy it and have a very unhappy husband. Marcus has been eating better (because I can control what he eats) and he has actually lost a little weight. He's doing great without soda too! Grace is the same old eat whatever I want, and then is very active in sports so she stays trim and lean. I keep telling her it will catch up with her one day. I know it will. For the most part, I fix pretty healthy dinners, but the snack foods are crappy because Jason won't eat the healthy stuff. He spends a lot of time lifting weights and doing cardio but eats a fourth meal every night. It's crap too. He doesn't eat the fruit or yogurt or nuts, he has to have the Doritos or oreos. It's very frustrating to me but I have told him till I'm blue in the face, "this is going to kill you." It is becoming very personal for me and important to me but I realize that food is also like a bad addiction. He is addicted to coke and junk food. He won't get better until he wants to. You can obviously tell how much it bothers me!

Well, I'm finishing up my roasted cabbage and liter of water and a good book tonight! I'm not feeling very well about my day 30 pics. Even though I might have a ten lb loss, I don't feel like I look very different.

PATIENCE.

PATIENCE.

Day 17 & 18

Yesterday was a rest day. Today's workout was tough. Thankfully it's only 25 min. My legs feel like jello! I took a short clip of part of it. It's 25 min with about 8 spurts of 1 min drills.

Don't worry. I rewinded this and did it!
